"Yummy" Yoga with Diane

Monday, October 36:00—7:00 PMLibrary Meeting RoomWiggin Memorial Library10 Bunker Hill Ave., Stratham, NH, 03885

“Yummy Yoga” is a gentle guided practice to restore, renew, and refresh. Through the practice of gentle poses, you will be guided with tools to handle stress, find calm in your mind, and strength in your body. Yoga not only strengthens our bodies and calms our minds; it can show us that anything is possible.

My name is Diane Smith and I live in Stratham. I work full time as a Senior Marketing Counselor at River Woods Exeter. I received my 200 hour Yoga Training in March of 2016 at The Yoga Life Institute in Exeter, New Hampshire. I was led to my first yoga class over 15 years ago as a result of a running injury. When I arrived on my yoga mat, I was attracted to the physical component with the goal of getting back to running. I felt calmness when I left the class. I wanted more. I continued to go back to my mat. I was sensing a strong call to slow down and breathe! I decided I wanted more and that is what led me to teacher training. The rest is history. Yoga has brought me home. Yoga has the power of transformation. My hope is that this gentle playful practice will allow you to explore, imagine and be open. My intention is to empower you to slow down and strike a pose.

The only requirement is you show up with your mat!
