UPDATE: Our eclipse glasses are now sold out! (Folks who register here for our party will still get glasses on the big day.)
Kick off National Library Week with our Eclipse-viewing party in the library garden!
Mon, April 8, 2024, the partial eclipse will begin about 2:15PM, with 95% of the sun being covered around 3:30PM, and the partial eclipse ending around 4:30.
We'll have moon and sun-inspired music (featuring Bonnie Tyler, of course!), activities, and snacks. Most importantly, we have eclipse-glasses for safe viewing!
Note: It is not safe to look at the sun at any point during the eclipse without proper eye protection. Regular sunglasses are not strong enough to protect your eyes.
